Make new friends.
In other words.
The camp has taught me how to work in a team. It helped me bond with new friends and also helped me unleash talents which I never thought i had. It taught me how important it is to work together and help one another. Without each other, we would not be able to raise the amount of money we did during the chocolate sales. In one afternoon, we managed to raise $802 from the sales of chocolates and $296 from donations for the survivors of the Myanmmar cyclone victims. (by Chung Jing Ying. - Club Service)
I have learned how to work as a team and that each and everyone needs to play a part. I have also learned that interact club is not only about community service, but also to miz around, have fun, learn new skills and encounter new experiences and learn to be more outgoing and to have our own initiative to help in whatever I can. (by Prema - Publicity)
The theme was making dreams come true. During discussion, planning the skit was a big headache as different members gave different ideas and opinions. So all of us tried to work together and sort things out. We end up having a fixed plan. We decided to add some comedy in our skit. From this we learnt that we needed to work as a team in orser to get things done easily. Since we chose a skit, we had to act. All of us had to parcitipate. It really takes courage to it. There were a lot of delays during the camp, however the directors did a great job in creating game and fun for us. It also made it easier to interact with other Interactors. All in all we had fun during the camp. We got to meet new people and make new friends and also making ourselves feel good. (International Understanding.)
