Build working relationship with Rotary eClub
Network with members of other Interact Clubs

11am to 2pm Chocolate sales

2pm Welcome guests from Rotary eClub and Interact Clubs and walk them through the exhibition

3pm Move guests to Lecture Theater for Welcome Speech (Vin/Priya/Shahri) &
Career talks

4.30pm Tea reception outside LT

YOUTH LIFE ORGANIZATION presents:

YLO ROCK-IT!!!

Youth Life Organization is organising an event for all youths of Singapore. It is a/an motivational camp for youths age 14 - 17 years old. We, Interact Club of ITE College East are fully sponsored.
Some of our interactors will be in a part of that event like teaching/motivating the students, perform a hip hop dance and etc. The event will be on the 26th and 27th July. So come and join us!

Listen Up Dancerz! There will be dance practice everyday this week. We have only a few dayz left. So try to come as we have limited time only. i have come up with a dance routine with my Dance Instructor/Bboy and this is gonna be a team dance. W/o 1 person available, i might not see the whole dance steps. So i need everyone co-operation and come for the practice. So lets have fun and enjoy the camp. Our Performance will be on Sunday, 27th july
at Auditorium/School Forum, 12.30pm.

Write Ups On Interact Club Orientation Camp 2008

What have i learnt from the camp?

The camp has taught me how to work in a team. It helped me bond with new friends and also helped me unleash talents which I never thought i had. It taught me how important it is to work together and help one another. Without each other, we would not be able to raise the amount of money we did during the chocolate sales. In one afternoon, we managed to raise $802 from the sales of chocolates and $296 from donations for the survivors of the Myanmmar cyclone victims.

I have learned how to work as a team and that each and everyone needs to play a part. I have also learned that interact club is not only about community service, but also to miz around, have fun, learn new skills and encounter new experiences and learn to be more outgoing and to have our own initiative to help in whatever I can.

The theme was making dreams come true. During discussion, planning the skit was a big headache as different members gave different ideas and opinions. So all of us tried to work together and sort things out. We end up having a fixed plan. We decided to add some comedy in our skit. From this we learnt that we needed to work as a team in orser to get things done easily. Since we chose a skit, we had to act. All of us had to parcitipate. It really takes courage to it. There were a lot of delays during the camp, however the directors did a great job in creating game and fun for us. It also made it easier to interact with other Interactors.
All in all we had fun during the camp. We got to meet new people and make new friends and also making ourselves feel good.
